Most people will be aware that Wimbledon hosts the world famous Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

Wimbledon is an ideal location for anyone planning to visit London or the south of England.

Central London is easily accessible by train ( 17 minutes to London Waterloo ).

We are 10 minutes walk from Wimbledon Common, a conservation area of wild heathland, including a windmill. The area is popular with local walkers.

After an invigorating walk in the woods and heaths of the Common, you can relax in the historic inns on the edge of the Common.

There are two local livery stables for horse riding and a number of golf courses.

Wimbledon is proud of its recently restored Victorian theatre, close to the hotel.

Situated in Wimbledon, the greyhound stadium attracts a large cross section of people from the young and trendy to the traditional dog racing 'purists'. Renowned for its excellent facilities and atmosphere, the Greyhound stadium can be as varied as you wish it to be. Whether dining in the Star Attraction, Broadway restaurant, or in one of our executive suites, taking a seat in the glass fronted, air conditioned grandstand or just enjoying the great atmosphere of dog racing on the terraces. Racing takes place on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings.
