Arrival
By car from the south:
From M25 junction 10 take A3 towards London, leave the A3 at Tibbets Corner and take the A219 to Wimbledon.
By car from the north:
At end of the M1 take the A406, North Circular Road westbound to Chiswick Roundabout, then the A205, South Circular Road over Kew Bridge. Follow the A205 to Putney, turn right up Putney Hill, and at the roundabout at the top take the A219 to Wimbledon.
By Rail & Coach:
Coming from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, the North of England and the Midlands to Euston, Kings Cross, Victoria, Paddington and Liverpool Street Terminals, take the London Underground to South Kensington and change to the westbound District Line (Wimbledon branch).
By Rail from Europe:
From Waterloo take one of the many trains which stop at Wimbledon, the journey time is normally 17 minutes.
By Air:
From London, Heathrow take the London Underground to South Kensington and change to the westbound District Line (Wimbledon branch). Time: about 1 hour.
From London, Gatwick take a stopping train to London, Victoria, change at Clapham Junction to a southbound train from Platform 11 stopping at Wimbledon. There is normally no need to haul your baggage to a distant platform since the Gatwick train comes in at platform 10. Time: about 1 hour. |
